Last week at Smackdown, Rhodes teamed up with John Cena to take on the team of Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. The match went to a disqualification finish, and Cody Rhodes was beaten badly by the Scottish Psychopath at the end of the show. This week on SmackDown, McIntyre appeared and talked about his actions last week.
Cody Rhodes is presently having a feud with Drew McIntyre
It has not been cleared officially, but things are pretty clear that it is going to be McIntyre who will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship next, and it looks like the match will take place at the upcoming WWE premium live event, which is Clash at Paris. So we can expect both of the World titles to be on the line at the mentioned show, as the World Heavyweight Championship match has already been booked for the show.

It can also be expected that McIntyre and Rhodes would go on to have a long feud, at least until the end of this year, since one thing is pretty much clear that Rhodes will not drop the Undisputed WWE Championship anytime soon before WrestleMania 42, and he needs to keep on feuding for his Championship. McIntyre can definitely be a healthy and worthy competition for the title.
But a large number of Drew McIntyre fans are not happy with the present scenario because it is pretty much clear that McIntyre will not be given the title anytime soon if he keeps on feuding with Cody Rhodes. Rhodes has not gotten a proper championship reign for more than 4 years, and his family believes that he deserves a proper world title shot more than anyone right now.
