CM Punk has been active in WWE since Survivor Series 2023, and he is doing a marvelous job. He remained out of WWE for nearly 10 years, and he was not even active in the ring either. He left WWE after his performance at the Royal Rumble match in 2014, and he took 10 long years to return to the promotion. He spent a couple of years in the AEW before returning to WWE.
Some fans showed concern over his WWE future after whatever happened in AEW. But undoubtedly, he is doing a great job in WWE so far, and he is also maintaining his legendary status. Soon after returning to WWE, he suffered an injury, leaving the captain out of action for a long time. But he kept on doing what he is best at as soon as he returned.

Big E is concerned about the future of CM Punk
He may be doing a great job, but recently he celebrated his 47th birthday, and he is slowly closing in on his retirement. Former WWE World Champion Big E recently expressed his concern about the in ring future of Punk. But he also recognized whatever he is doing ever since returning to WWE. Speaking with KSI.com, Big E discussed the following;
CM Punk returned to WWE in 2023
“CM Punk’s really energized so many fans, and people who have been fans of his for many years. Having him back in the fold along with his lovely wife AJ Lee has been really exciting. We have so many of our greats who are talking about retiring — John Cena’s last year, and AJ Styles retiring next year — and we don’t know when Punk’s last year will be, either.

He featured on the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 41
"If you’re a fan of CM Punk or someone who is just starting to get into it, take this opportunity to come out and see a legend like CM Punk. Because we don’t know how long we’ll have him.” said Big E, who was forced to retire from in ring action due to a neck injury that he suffered in 2022 just before WrestleMania 38.
Punk was not happy during his first run, not being given the main event of WrestleMania for back-to-back 3 years, and he was even more unhappy when, in all three years, the main event of WrestleMania was given to part-timers like The Rock and Batista. He finally got his wish granted of main eventing WrestleMania this year when he featured in the main event of night one of WrestleMania 41.
