CM Punk Vs Seth Rollins had been one of the best rivalries in modern day wrestling, and it has also been one of the longest. The rivalry started even before the return of CM Punk, and it was going on in some of the heated Twitter reactions. Rollins even talked about Punk publicly, which triggered a future rivalry between the two.
As soon as CM Punk made her main roster debut, the fans were waiting to see this rivalry. But Punk suffered an injury during the Royal Rumble match of 2024, which kept him out of action for quite a long time. The first match the duo had was at the Netflix RAW Premiere earlier this year, where Punk came out victorious.
CM Punk would not mind teaming up with Seth Rollins
The rivalry continued as they featured in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 41, also containing CM Punk, where Seth Rollins was victorious as he pinned Roman Reigns in this match. The rivalry between Punk and Rollins continued, and at WWE Summerslam, Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Punk, who had just won the World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins took the title away from Punk, and he could not enjoy the reign for more than five minutes.
CM Punk and Seth Rollins have had a long rivalry since 2024
This epic rivalry could have continued to this date only if Rollins had not gotten injured. Unfortunately, he will not be able to return for a long time, and he may not even mean WrestleMania 42. But after all the drama they went through, Punk is still ready to team up with Seth Rollins. Speaking on the “Up & Adams Show,” he said the following;
Rollins is presently out of action with a shoulder injury
“I would, yeah. Because that’s way bigger than me and whatever feelings I have about Seth, you know? It’d be a real gift for him, too. He’d get to learn something that night and then let’s say the (Blackhawks) Hawks win the cup. That’s good for Hawks fans, and I’m not going to deprive any hockey fan of that. I’m not a selfish little brat.”
“The single ticket thing is interesting because it affords somebody like Seth Rollins the ability to buy a ticket because his wife will undoubtedly be on the show and he will be on the sideline. So, he can buy a ticket by himself. He could sit in the chair. If he spends enough money, he can take the chair home with him and he can repeatedly beat himself in the head with it.” said Punk.
