He is presently standing as a 7 times WWE World Champion

"I definitely think when I won the belt the first time, it was just like I need to hold on to this thing and I need to prove to everybody why I'm the champion," Punk said, "Now I'm pretty secure and you know who I am. I have the empirical data to prove that I am exactly everything I've ever said I was to back it up. So this time I'm just kind of in the moment. I'm just loving it, just staying present."

Punk has been active in WWE since 2023, and ever since returning to WWE, he has been promoted as a main eventer, much like he has always been. He won his first World title since returning at Summerslam in August this year, but the run lasted for 5 minutes only as Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on him. He is presently rumoured to carry the World title to WrestleMania 42.
