Charlotte Flair has been active in WWE since her return to the promotion during the women's Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble event earlier this year. She remained out of action with multiple brutal injuries she suffered in December 2023. She got her main event status back instantly after she returned to WWE, as she went on to win the women's Royal Rumble match.
But the fans did not like the way she had been treated since her return, and she started receiving a terrible reaction from the fans. WWE had no other option but to relegate her from her main event status, and she started feuding WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship by teaming up with Alexa Bliss. The fans somehow accepted her after she started working as a tag team wrestler.

Charlotte Flair responded to her criticism
But there is a community of wrestling fans who never stopped hating her despite her being erased from the main event status. Charlotte Flair recently responded to the hate that she receives from the fans, and she even looked back at the body shaming comments she had to go through. Speaking on the “Strong New York” podcast, she said the following;
Charlotte Flair is presently working as a tag team with Alexa Bliss
“The last two years having my first injury, being out, coming back, and I came back with a lot on my plate, and I had lost a lot of weight due to it, but like no one knew. So, the criticism of, like, ‘She’s so skinny,’ whatever narrative was out there. And then you put on 10 pounds, and then they’re like, ‘Oh, she’s getting bigger. She looks like Charlotte did in 2015’. It’s just like if they’re not talking, you’re doing something wrong.”

She is expected to participate in the War Games match at Survivor Series
“So it’s kind of like a mixed blessing. Like, ‘Oh, she looks like a dude; she’s too skinny,’ or ‘She looks plastic.’ Like any fan that I’ve ever met in person, they’re like, ‘Wow, you’re so much prettier in person.’ You have to just take it, what else can you do?” said the 14 times World Champion.
Charlotte Flair was expected to participate in the women's War Games match at the upcoming Survivor Series event, but last Friday on SmackDown, she made it clear that she does not want to be in it anymore because of the involvement of Rhea Ripley, whom she does not trust, and she left. We are pretty sure that she will ultimately complete in the War Games match; it is just a part of a storyline.
