Charlotte Flair remained out of action for a long time as she suffered multiple injuries. She made her in ring return as a participant in the women's Royal Rumble match earlier this year and she became the first woman to win two Royal Rumble matches. She challenged Tiffany Stratton WWE Women's Championship at Wrestlemania 41, but she failed to win it.

But the fans were not happy with WWE giving her an instant main event boost as soon as she returned to action. She started receiving terrible reactions from the fans, and it is believed that WWE decided to cut her from the main event status after seeing the negative reaction she was receiving since return to WWE.

She then teamed up with Alexa Bliss and started competing for the Women's Tag Team titles, which at first seemed like a demotion, but surprisingly, it worked for her, and the fans started supporting her. Former two times TNA World Champion Bubba Ray Dudley is quite satisfied with the present work of Charlotte Flair, and he praised her while speaking on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast;

Charlotte Flair is not working as a main eventer in WWE anymore

“Something is also going on with Charlotte that hasn’t happened with her in a long, long time. She’s having fun. She’s not so uptight anymore. She doesn’t have to be a Flair and a champion and worry about every little thing. Showing up, having fun, doing tag matches, wrestling, doing some backstage TikToks with Alexa, stealing her coffee, whatever.”

“Charlotte also looks like she’s not so serious every minute of every moment of the day in the gym. It looks like she’s taking a day off here and there. And not so worried about, ‘Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, everything has to be perfect.’” said the WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley.

Charlotte Flair may have gotten over with the WWE fan, but it does not look like she is going to be promoted as a main eventer anytime soon. She is not maintaining a very good singles status despite carrying the WWE Women's Tag Team titles. Even on the latest episode of SmackDown, Nia Jax defeated her in a one on one match. It looks like WWE will keep using her as a mid card only, and her main event status is gone for good.
