WWE signed a massive multi year partnership contract with TNA wrestling earlier this year, and since then, the two promotions have been working together. Almost every week, cross promotion appearances are seen, and the wrestling fans are completely loving it.
TNA Wrestling used to be the biggest competitor of WWE throughout the 2000s, but with many wrong decisions taken lately, TNA Wrestling failed to keep up with the pace. Once, it used to have big stars like Kurt Angle and Hulk Hogan, but later, it was even struggling for survival.

Bubba Ray Dudley praises WWE for helping TNA Wrestling more than AEW
It started to improve in the late 2020s, and it showed some promise, too. However, it was nowhere near the standard it used to be during its prime. But in early 2025, the promotion got a big boost in the form of a partnership deal with WWE, which is the biggest professional wrestling promotion in the world.
Bubba Ray Dudley has worked in both WWE and TNA Wrestling
Since the two promotions started working together and there had been many cross promotion appearances from both sides. However, WWE is only treating TNA Wrestling equivalent to their developmental territory NXT.
It sparked controversies and a lot of pants, but unhappy with this. WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley, who has also been a big part of TNA Wrestling recently, claimed that WWE did a greater job of helping TNA Wrestling than AEW did. Speaking on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, he explained;

Bubba Ray Dudley is a tag team Legend as well as a two times TNA World Champion
“I thoroughly believe — don’t get me wrong, the relationship is a bit one-sided — but TNA is definitely getting their share of the relationship. This is considerably better, in my eyes, perception-wise, than the relationship that TNA had with AEW.” explained the former two times TNA World champion.

Recently, NXT star Trick Williams won the TNA World Championship as the first active WWE star to win the TNA Championship. Everything looks quite good, as it also looks like TNA is gaining more viewers. But there are some questionable decisions to like the way WWE treated Joe Hendry at WrestleMania 41. Nevertheless, we can expect TNA Wrestling to gain more audience in favour of this deal.
