Braun Strowman and Paul Heyman were seen in a Twitter war lately where both of them took hands on each other again and again. Some fans even thought that it was a work and Strowman might be returning to WWE to become a part of the storyline with The Vision. This had been the reason behind this Twitter war.
But later, it looked like it had nothing to do with work, and it was just an internet backlash. Braun Strowman had been one of the major parts of WWE during his time in the promotion, and he had also been a former World Champion. Vince McMahon always promoted him as a top star. But unfortunately, he became a victim of the covid-19 pandemic when he was released from WWE in 2021.

Braun Strowman discusses his issues with Paul Heyman
Triple H brought Braun Strowman back in 2022, and this time he was treated as a mid card talent. By July 2025, his contract had expired, and WWE did not extend his contract. Presently, he is not active in WWE, and his Twitter issues with Paul Heyman are making things even more difficult for him to return. Recently, he spoke to TMZ’s “Inside The Ring” podcast, where he addressed issues with Heyman;
Braun Strowman has been released from WWE in July 2025
“I gotta stop you right there. I keep getting this tweeting with Paul Heyman. I never even talked about Paul or acknowledged Paul. I don’t know why he got so upset and came at me… Especially because he gets to see my face every commercial break on SmackDown, and let’s be for real, if anybody knows about me having a show about ordering everything on the menu, you think Paul would know.”

Strowman is a former WWE Universal Champion
“I have no idea (why Heyman wrote what he did about me). I guess I struck a nerve or something. I don’t know. I didn’t deliberately, intentionally mean to talk to him or any of that stuff. I don’t know what’s going on, and maybe he’s just sensitive or something or maybe he misses me. That’s probably what it is. I think the ratings are struggling a little bit and they realize that when The Monster’s on TV, he draws ratings so who knows?” said Strowman.
