WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship was introduced earlier this year, and Lyra Valkyria was the first wrestler to win the title. She had an excellent reign of the Championship for nearly 5 months before dropping the title to Becky Lynch at the Money in the Bank event.
At first, Valkyria and Lynch worked as a tag team at WrestleMania 41 and challenged for the Women's Tag Team titles. But they failed to win the title, and on the next episode of RAW, Lynch betrayed Valkyria and attacked her by turning heel. The duo began a feud for the Women's IC title.
Who will challenge Becky Lynch for the IC title next?
The first challenge was at the Backlash event, where Valkyria managed to retain the Championship. Lynch challenged for the Championship again at the Money in the Bank event, where she successfully defeated fellow Irish professional wrestler to win the Championship.

Valkyria attempted to win the title multiple times after dropping the title to Lynch, but every time she failed, including her latest challenge that took place at SummerSlam. Former world champion Bayley also got involved in this title picture but failed to win the title. Now, both of them are pretty much out of the IC title picture.
Lyra Valkyria is out of the title picture for now
Becky Lynch appeared on RAW with her WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship this week, and she was confronted by former two times Divas Champion Nikki Bella. It looks like she is going to be the next in line for the Women's IC title against Lynch. Bella was even attacked physically by Lynch at the end of this segment.
With Bayley and Valkyria out of the title picture, it looks like Nikki Bella is going to be next in line to challenge Lynch for the title. The next PLE of WWE is Clash at Paris, which is scheduled on August 31st, where we can expect Nikki Bella to challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship.
