Bayley is indeed one of the biggest assets of the women's division of WWE right now, and for the last decade, she has done everything to keep the fans entertained. She is a former four times World Champion, and she has also achieved multiple other successes. She is presently active on Monday Night RAW.
Recently, the former champion has been going through an exciting storyline where she is shown suffering from multiple personality disorder. Throughout her WWE career, she has played two different characters, the Hugger and the Role Model. Presently, she is neither one of those; she is just herself. But she is confused about which character she actually is.
WWE Hall of Famer praised the ongoing storyline of Bayley
Every week on Monday Night RAW, a pre taped footage is shown where she was seen fighting her own self and both of her characters talking in her mind. She looks more and more confused every week, and it is getting really difficult for her to discover herself among these two characters that she played in WWE.
She is there presently playing a split personality angle
It is getting really confusing where this storyline is actually heading. Is she going to play either one of these characters, or will she play something else? WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley recently talked about the present storyline of Bayley, and she shared praise for it. Speaking in a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, he said;
Her present character is being compared to Bray Wyatt
“The number one thing that stood out to me about the whole show: Bayley; the Bayley promo. I didn’t understand it and it kinda threw me off, as it was the last thing I saw. Now, I’m starting to get it.” he continued, “That’s what goes through a wrestler’s mind. I think that’s why it’s working, with mental health awareness being as prevalent as it is in 2025, I think people can really sympathize and get on board with what Bayley is going through now.”
Previously, rumours had it that she was bringing back her famous Hugger persona, but after she started playing this split personality storyline, things became quite confusing. It is pretty much guaranteed that she is going to play something completely new, and there are even rumours that she may play a Bray Wyatt like character. Moreover, we are expecting something really exciting.
