It is pretty much confirmed that the former four times WWE Women's Champion Bayley is going to have a character change, and WWE is building it with patience. She made her return recently to challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. But after a number of failed attempts to win the title, she was completely out of the title picture.
After remaining out of action for a number of weeks, Bayley started to appear on pre taped footage during the episodes of Monday Night RAW. In these vignettes, the former champion looked quite devastated for having a terrible time. It looked like she was finally getting her spotlight back last year after she won the women's Royal Rumble match.
Bayley's storyline is getting more and more confusing
Even after winning the Women's Championship at WrestleMania XL, she could not get a proper touch and slowly she said it away from the main event scenario after dropping the championship to Nia Jax at SummerSlam 2024. When she returned to action recently to challenge for the Women's IC title, it looked like she would resurrect as a mid card once again, but that did not happen either.

The majority of the WWE fans believe that she desperately needs a gimmick change since her present character has started to feel monotonous. When she started airing the creepy footages, at first, it looked like she would be bringing back her Hugger persona, which earned her early recognition among the fans.
She is presently playing from a dual personality disorder storyline
After the latest episode of RAW, it looks like she is bringing something completely different. She has started to hear voices from both of her previous characters, The Hugger and The Role Model, both of them trying to convince her which character is better. Presently, the scenario stands that she is bringing something completely different and completely new.
As of now, there has been no confirmation on what Bayley would do or which character she will play next. Will she return her famous Hugger persona? Will she continue with her present role model persona? We have to wait a little longer to see where is storyline is actually heading.
