Former World Champion Bayley has recently adopted a new character, which seems to be a multiple personality disorder gimmick. She had been teasing this new character for a number of weeks as she was featuring on pre recorded vignettes on the episodes of Monday Night RAW.
Ultimately, she debuted her new gimmick this week on Monday Night RAW when Lyra Valkyria was getting manhandled by Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. She came out to help Valkyria, and she did. At first, she appeared as her usual Role Model character and nothing looked any special.

Bayley is not the first wrestler to portray a split personality gimmick in WWE
But soon after getting rid of Rodriguez and Perez, she started hugging out everyone, from the commentators to the officials and even the fans in the arena. It was something that she used to do when she played her famous Hugger character. Later on the show, she appeared again in a backstage segment with Lyra Valkyria.
Multiple wrestlers in WWE have portrayed such characters before
This time, he was seen yelling at the former WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion much like her Role Model character. So she played both of her characters that made her famous on one single night, making it clear that he is going to play both characters at the same time, which indicates a split personality gimmick.

Bayley debuted her new character on RAW last Monday
But this is not going to be the first time WWE is portraying a multiple personality disorder storyline. Mick Foley was the first known wrestler to play such a storyline. He played three characters at the same time: Dude Love, Cactus Jack, and Mankind. He even appeared three times in three different characters during the Royal Rumble match of 1998.
During the Ruthless Aggression era, Luke Gallows played the character of Festus, which also portrayed a split personality storyline. Most recently, it was Bray Wyatt who played such a storyline. We hope Bayley also does great while she works in this storyline, and who knows, she may even appear twice in the upcoming women's Royal Rumble match, portraying both of her characters.
