It has not been confirmed why he was taken out of action at this stage of his career. But it had been reported by Fightful Select that the former two times WWE United States champion is not coming back before 2026. You must also have it that he will appear as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match.
The Megastar is also expected to win the World Championship in 2026
The fans might fear that he has been buried by WWE, but in reality, the promotion has big plans for the Megastar in 2026, and he may even be promoted as a World Champion. They presently want the fans to be more emotionally connected with him so that his championship win feels like a dream come true moment.
But even if LA Knight returns at the Royal Rumble event as a surprise entrant in the men's Royal Rumble match, it does not look like he will be winning the Royal Rumble match. Presently, either Roman Reigns or Bron Breakker is reportedly the two favorites to win the men's Royal Rumble match of 2026. As of now, we cannot expect him to win the World title before WrestleMania 42.
