Asuka has always been portrayed as one of the biggest stars of WWE, and ever since she joined the promotion, she has been a top star. She even ran a long, undefeated streak which started from her NXT days and continued until her main roster arrival. Even at the age of 44, she is one of the biggest stars of WWE.
Recently, she entered into a new storyline where she had a shocking heel turn; no one is spared from her hands. It all started last week on RAW when she had a one on one match against Rhea Ripley. After the experience, the professional wrestler picked up a victory over her; she shocked the entire world by spitting Blue Mist on the face of the Australian professional wrestler.
Asuka's recent rise is praised by Big E
This new storyline has become a part of the discussion and has finally found something to talk about. Former WWE World Champion Big E recently talked about her and shared massive praise for the Japanese professional wrestler. She appeared on the “RAW Recap” podcast recently, where she said the following;
Asuka turned heel last week on RAW
“Asuka’s on another level right now, and it seems like in many ways, I feel like she’s been, the last couple of years, I know she’s dealt with some injuries as well. She’s almost been on the back burner, and I think we forget how terrifying one this woman is, but how incredible she is. I have to say, I’m really, really looking forward to this match in Perth at Crown Jewel.
"There’s so much meat here. Obviously Rhea headed back to her home country. She’s gonna get just an incredible reception as well. But seeing all four of these women really step up in so many different ways. I feel like I have to stifle a laugh every time I see Kairi on screen as well. Whether she’s doing the fisticuffs, she is a gem as well in the background.
She also turned on her fellow Japanese wrestler, Iyo Sky
"There’s so many elements of this story and just the very real elements I think that are in play for IYO because there’s really obviously a real kinship with Asuka, with Kairi, what they’ve been through as a family. You see her just kind of being torn apart here, so I’m really intrigued to see how this match will play out in Perth.”
This week on RAW, the storyline became even more intense when Iyo Sky had a further beating at the hands of the Empress of Tomorrow. She even sprayed the Blue Mist on her face, much like she did to Rhea Ripley last week. Kairi Sane is her partner in crime so far, but it does not look like she has full consent to attack Iyo Sky. Moreover, the storyline is really exciting, and hopefully, it gets more exciting this time.
