Alexa Bliss is presently working in WWE as a tag team along with the former 14 times WWE World Champion Charlotte Flair, and no doubt they are one of the most famous teams in WWE right now. These two former World Champions are also holding the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships right now.
But this tag team was never long term plan as it was a sudden match and not a long term plan. Alexa Bliss recently revealed it recently while she spoke with the “In The Kliq” podcast, where she made this shocking revelation, and she also revealed that it was her idea to team up with Charlotte Flair. Here is what she had to say;
Alexa Bliss revealed that her team with Charlotte Flair was not preplanned
“It’s been so fun working with Charlotte. This was something that came about very kind of randomly, we were talking to creative, and I kind of like threw it out there. I was like, well, what about- they gave me like a list of names of people who were kind of like in this little bubble of needing storyline, and I was like, ‘well, what about Charlotte?’ We have this long past.”
“They said Charlotte’s name, and I was like, yeah, we have a long past, I think it would be a fun dynamic to see what do these two people who don’t normally interact get along with other people or have success with other people look like getting stuck together, and that’s been super fun.”

“We’ve been having fun with it, at our entrances that are little pushing, pulling all the stuff that’s just us improv-ing and just having fun with it. It’s been a lot of fun. I was right. We would be successful because now we’re tag team champions, and it’s been great.”
“We get to see a different side of me, a different side of Charlotte, which, I think is so fun, and (to) see her kind of open up and have fun as a character. Because we saw before just a character that was mainly going for a singles title, and then my character was never really one after joining Bray, was never really focused on any titles.”
“So it’s fun to see the mesh of the two come together as this kind of odd couple and, you know, allies of convenience. It’s been a lot of fun and I think that’s what kind of resonates with the audiences that we’re naturally having fun, and I think it allows the audience to have fun with us.” concluded Alexa Bliss.
Both Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair are multi times former World Champion
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss both made returns to WWE after a long time at the Royal Rumble event of this year, and they were surprise entrants of the women’s Royal Rumble match. It was pretty much clear that WWE did not have any bigger plans for Bliss. But Charlotte Flair was supposed to be a main eventer again.
Flair won the Women’s Royal Rumble match and earned the right to challenge for a World title at WrestleMania 41. But after she received a terrible reaction from the audience, she was cut from the main event scene. After teaming up Alexa Bliss and Flair, both are doing quite good, and it looks like WWE will continue this team. But chances are very low that WWE will ever promote either of these two former World Champions as main eventers in WWE again.
