AJ Styles is doing an amazing job in WWE, and even at the age of 48, he is one of the most high flying wrestlers of the promotion. He has been active in the world of professional wrestling since the 90s, and no doubt he is one of the most influential names of the promotion. He has worked in multiple major wrestling promotions, including WWE, WCW, and TNA Wrestling.
He has been active in WWE since 2016, and he was given a main event break soon after he made his WWE debut. He had been a two times WWE world champion, and he had rivalries with some of the top stars of the promotion. John Cena had been one of the biggest rivals of his professional wrestling career, and the duo recently had an excellent match at the Crown Jewel event.

AJ Styles does not want to come out of retirement once he announces it
AJ Styles is pretty much out of the main event picture right now, and presently, he is treated as a legend in the promotion. He mostly works to put over younger talents. AJ Styles recently revealed that he will never return to in ring action once he announces his retirement. Speaking on the latest episode of “RAW Recap,” he explained the following;
AJ Styles has been active in WWE since 2016
“Alright, well, well, let’s just be honest about the whole thing. I don’t know if you guys noticed, haven’t been in the main event picture lately. So, I just assumed that I wasn’t that important. But it sounds like, to me, the fans wanted this match, and at the end of the day, when it comes to John Cena’s retirement tour, we’re gonna give them what they want. So, I’m happy to have the opportunity to face John one more time and I can tell you this, it’ll never happen again.

Styles had an excellent match with John Cena at Crown Jewel last Saturday
"I don’t care how much money they offer us, we’re probably still — I said probably — we’re not going to Saudi Arabia to have another match. This is it. I know in my heart, this is the right thing and John’s gonna be retiring soon and I’m gonna be right behind him. It’s just the reality of two guys who have busted their butt for so many years, and busted their bodies at the same time. It’s time.”
A lot of wrestlers have returned to the ring even after retiring earlier. Ric Flair is one of the names who faced criticism for returning to the ring despite announcing retirement. Other top wrestlers like Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker also came out of retirement. Styles is clearly not a fan of such a thing, and he has made himself clear.
