He started working in TNA Wrestling in 2002, and this is where he became a top star. He won the World Championship multiple times in the promotion and other Championships.

Jeff Jarrett explains why AJ Styles is one of the best
AJ Styles spent a long time in TNA wrestling, and he is considered one of the biggest names in the history of this promotion. He joined WWE in 2016 and made his debut as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match. In the same year, he won the WWE World Championship for the first time, and he had been a two times WWE World Champion.
AJ Styles has announced that he will retire by the end of 2026
He won other titles in the promotion, too, and today he stands as a Grand Slam champion in WWE. He worked as a main eventer during his early career in WWE, but later, he mostly focused on putting over younger talents, and that is exactly what he is doing right now. Recently, he had an amazing match with John Cena at the Crown Jewel event, and it is already being considered one of the best matches in the history of professional wrestling.

Styles will be 49 at the time of his retirement
John Cena is presently going through his retirement tour, and he will end his wrestling career by the end of this year. AJ Styles also announced that he will retire by the end of 2026. His former co worker and on screen rival, Jeff Jarrett, recently talked about how good he is and also explained why he is one of the best in the world. Speaking on his "My World" podcast, he explained the following;
"AJ was just next level," Jarrett said. "His athleticism you know? There would be maybe a Morphoplex executive or a Spike executive–I'll call it a non-wrestling fan that could be at one of our events, I'll call it on business, they would always comment like 'Damn that AJ Styles is athletic isn't he?' I'm like 'Yep, he does it every match, every night.' But yeah AJ's, I'll call it career decisions, I think in a lot of ways guys in the industry today should really take note of it." Said Jeff Jarrett.
