AJ Lee made a sensational return last Friday on SmackDown, and she had been extremely impressive on the mic last Monday on RAW. She was one of the top stars of the WWE Divas era, and she is also a three times WWE Divas Champion. But she remained out of action and with WWE for more than a decade.
Her husband CM Punk is presently continuing her long time feud with Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. At the Clash in Paris event, Rollins defended the title in a fatal 4 way match, which also included CM Punk. When Punk was getting closer to picking up the victory, Rollins' wife, Becky Lynch, helped her husband retain the title.
Is AJ Lee in good enough shape to compete in the ring?
Last week on SmackDown, Punk's wife, AJ, appeared to avenge her husband by attacking Becky Lynch. This week on RAW, she appeared again and cut a stunning promo, something she has always been good at. WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley questioned whether AJ is in good in ring shape. Speaking on his Busted Open Radio Podcast, he said;

“I asked Natty about this last week during her segment on Thursday, and she thinks that AJ Lee will be absolutely ready to go, get in that ring all fired up and ready. I understand where she’s coming from, I do. I still do think that they’re gonna have to be very careful about how they put the match together, just so they can feature her, and that’s just smart wrestling.”
“If you know you have somebody that’s been away for 10 years, or you know that you have somebody who’s just coming back from an injury, or you have somebody that’s just not as strong as an in-ring wrestler, performer, as the other three, this is called working together.” said Ray,
Lee will be in action for the first time in 10 years at Wrestlepalooza
“This is where, okay, we’re gonna, like, let’s just say this is the easiest thing that they could possibly do, what I’m about to suggest. This is as 101 as pro wrestling gets. The only time AJ Lee gets in the ring is when she blows the comeback on Becky Lynch.”
While AJ Lee was making her entrance, she looked quite slow compared to how she used to be 10 years ago. A lot of fans questioned whether she is still capable of providing good matches. But we should not jump to any conclusion right now since she has yet to perform in the ring. We have to wait until Wrestlepalooza, where she will be in action for the first time in over a decade.
