AJ Lee made a sensational return to in ring action after 10 long years, and she has done an amazing job ever since returning to the promotion. She instantly started a rivalry with Becky Lynch upon her return, and she is still continuing her feud with the former seven times world champion, which is getting more and more heated week after week.
AJ Lee was one of the biggest attractions of WWE during the Divas era of the promotion, which lasted over 5 years, early days of the PG Era. Lee has the highest number of Divas Championship runs in WWE history, which is a total of three dominant reigns. But in 2015, she decided to step down from in ring action and never return to WWE for over a decade.

After her departure, she got involved in a Twitter war with Stephanie McMahon, and in response, Stephanie McMahon also quoted actress Patricia Arquette on equal pay. Lee and McMahon recently buried the hatchet openly on the podcast of Stephanie McMahon, the “What’s Your Story?” podcast, Lee stated the following;

“So a long time ago the women’s division was in a different spot, and it felt like an uphill battle a lot of the time, and I was one of the first people fighting for it quite vocally. And I think when you are the first to do something, you get hurt storming the gates you know? It’s a little rougher, but I think it’s worth it because it opens a path for people to come behind you.”
“There was an incident on Twitter in which you (Stephanie) posted (a Patricia Arquette quote) about equal pay. Then I retweeted it and said: ‘Well, if we’re talking about use your voice, we don’t get equal pay essentially yet we’re bringing in more eyeballs than a lot of the men.’ It was probably pretty feisty.”

“In general, I’m fairly direct. I try not to be rude. I think a lot of people are like, ‘Oh, I have no filter.’ But it’s just an excuse for being rude. But I think you can be direct but very practical and so I felt it was coming from a practical place, very direct, but I also was a bit like ‘I don’t have nothing to lose right now’.
AJ Lee recently cost Becky Lynch her Women's Intercontinental Championships title on RAW, and she has also featured in the Women's War Games match at Survivor Series as an answer to her present rival, Becky Lynch.
