Lee made her return mostly to keep her husband's back against Becky Lynch, and she had been quiet ever since she made her return. Ultimately, a mixed tag team match had been announced for CM Punk to team up with his wife, Lee, to take on the team of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at the WWE premium live event Wrestlepalooza.

A lot of fans doubted AJ Lee's ability as she would be entering a big match after such a long time in a premium live event. Some fans even thought that Becky Lynch would have to carry her much like she carried Nikki Bella at Clash in Paris. And Nikki Bella's recent performances had been a matter of concern for the fans about Lee.

But surprisingly, Lee was really impressive at Wrestlepalooza, and it looks like she has the ability to go a long way. It was definitely not a pitch-perfect performance, as things that Lee would have to improve a little more, like unleashing the mounted punches, or the random slaps, which looked totally fake, and the Hurricanrana she hit also looked botched.
She is expected to have a feud with Becky Lynch next over the WWE Women's IC Championship
But overall, it was an impressive performance, and since it was her first performance in over 10 years, the fans can definitely expect her to improve even more with her upcoming performances. After she made Becky Lynch submit to her Black Widow submission move, it is now pretty much clear that she is going to get a strong booking.
As of now, we can expect AJ Lee to continue her feud with Becky Lynch in a one on one form, and this time we can also expect the feud to be featured for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. Presently, it looks like the former three times Divas champion is going to be active in WWE for quite a long time since she looks to be in good touch. But ultimately, we can expect her to start putting over younger talents.
