John Cena made millions of fans cry at his emotional farewell last Saturday at the Saturday Night's Main Event. He worked in his final match with the Ring General Gunther, and he tapped out for the first time in 21 long years. He had been one of the biggest attractions of WWE as long as he was active in the promotion.
John Cena started his retirement tour at the start of the year, and he went through a complete retirement tour throughout the year. He achieved everything that was yet to be achieved in his illustrious professional wrestling career, like winning his 17th World Championship; he also became a Grand Slam Champion for the first time in WWE.

CM Punk is not going to retire like John Cena anytime soon
WWE organised a 16 man tournament to determine its final opponent, and Gunther won the tournament to face him in his final match. Not only did he defeat Cena, but he also ended up tapping him out. The fans really hated the way Cena lost, and they showed immense hatred towards Gunther. They even booed him so loudly on the following week of RAW.

CM Punk, who had been one of the biggest Rivals of the career of John Cena's career, joined the after-party and paid homage to The Champ. On the post-show of Saturday Night's Main Event, CM Punk spoke out about his future retirement, and he explained that he is not planning to retire anytime soon. He said;

“When I make allusions to the end of whatever my career is going to look like, it’s not because I feel like I’m there. It’s because I look back at the entirety of my career. And there is a lot more road behind me than there is ahead of me. Trust me, I am the champion for a reason, and I’m here to stay, and nobody’s going to change that. I’m not going anywhere anytime soon.”
CM Punk made a sensational return to WWE a couple of years ago at the end of the Survivor Series event. Since then, he has maintained his main event status, and he won the World Championship twice. He is presently holding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and reports suggest that he is going to carry the title at WrestleMania 42.
