In the English Premier League 2025-26, Arsenal lead the pack and are also clear favourites to win the title this season. The Gunners have finished in the second position in the last three Premier League seasons, however, this season they have a nine-point lead at the top with seven games remaining. The London club will look to end a 22-year Premier League trophy drought this season.
Manchester City are currently second in the league, nine points behind Arsenal. The Citizens have played one game less than the Gunners in the league at the moment. But two draws in their last two league games have made it a challenging task to win the league this season.
Manchester United sit in the third spot, despite having a poor start to the season, which eventually led to the sacking of Ruben Amorim. With 16 points behind Arsenal and with only eight games to go, the Red Devils want to secure a spot in the Champions League next season, rather than challenging for the title.
Aston Villa, Liverpool, and Chelsea are all battling for a spot in the Champions League next season. Last season's title winners, Liverpool, started the season in poor form but have managed to climb up the table and sit in fifth position. It will be interesting to see which team will secure the last UCL spot this season in the Premier League.
La Liga 2025-26 leaders
Last season, Barcelona won its 28th league title with two games left to play and registered 88 points in 38 matches. In 28 matches this season, Blaugrana are leading the race with 70 points on the board and a four-point lead against arch-rivals Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are currently second in the league in a season in which they have struggled on and off the pitch. Manager Xabi Alonso was sacked in the middle of the season, and former Madrid star Alvaro Arbeloa was appointed as interim boss. Key players such as Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, Eder Militao, Thibaut Courtois, and Kylian Mbappe have struggled with injuries throughout the season.
Serie A 2025-26 leaders
Inter Milan are currently at the top of the table with 68 points in 29 matches. A recent dip in performance has seen them struggle at times to extend the lead at the top. Besides that, star players such as Lautaro Martinez, Alessandro Bastoni, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Marcus Thuram, and Hakan Calhanoglu all have struggled with injuries this season.
AC Milan and Napoli are in close contention in second and third place, respectively. Napoli won the title last season but have failed to manage a decent run of games to challenge for the title. Como is surprisingly in the fourth spot, just above Italian giants Juventus.
Bundesliga 2025-26 leaders
Bayern Munich sit comfortably at the top of the table on 67 points in 26 matches. Vincent Kompany’s men are looking to win back-to-back league titles this season. Die Roten are on a seven-game unbeaten run at the moment and are expected to win their 34th Bundesliga title this season.
Borussia Dortmund, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, VfB Stuttgart, and RB Leipzig complete the top 5 in the league this season. However, with a massive lead at the top, it will be challenging for the rest of the teams to stop Bayern Munich from winning the Bundesliga title.
Ligue 1 2025-26 leaders
Paris Saint-Germain are currently at the top of the table with 57 points in 25 matches. However, RC Lens are breathing down their neck as they sit second, just one point away from the top spot. While Maeseille and Lyon are placed fourth and fifth on the board, respectively.
PSG have won the Ligue 1 title for four consecutive seasons in the last five years. This year, Le Parisiens will look to lift the league title at the end of the season.
