Apart from Spurs, one of the most active teams in this transfer window has been Liverpool, who are splashing a huge sum of money on transfers, and it looks like the defending Premier League champions are yet to make some big transfers.

One of the names that is presently linked with them is the Real Madrid ace Rodrygo. The Brazilian International has been active in Spain for the last 6 years, but it looks like this is going to be his final season for Real Madrid as the 15 times Champions League winners are looking forward to getting him out of their squad.

Liverpool are reported to be interested in signing the 24 year old, and reports also suggest that they are pushing hard for a swap deal with they are Colombian international Luis Diaz to be a part of it. Both players are valued at around £80 million, so not much money would be involved in this deal if it happens.
They managed to win the UEFA Europa League last season
Liverpool are not the only team that is interested in signing Rodrygo. Reports suggest that the present UEFA Europa League winners, Tottenham Hotspur, are also looking forward to hijacking this deal from Liverpool. If they could actually do it, it would be a huge statement.

The defending UEFA Champions League winners, PSG, are also reported to be interested in signing Rodrygo. This would be really difficult for Tottenham Hotspur to snatch the Brazilian starlet when such big sides are interested in him. But in the world of football, we never say never.
