It has been nearly a year since Ruben Amorim was appointed as the manager of Manchester United in the hope of reigniting the former Premier League Champion. But as of now, he had been quite awful for the Red Devils, and so far, there had been no signs of improvement in his whole year.

They finished 15th in the league, which had been really disappointing. After the last season ended, the fans expected their team to go through a complete transition.

Manchester United reshaped their forward line up, as they brought in 3 new major forwards for a total fee of around £200 million. The new forwards are doing quite well so far, but the rest of the team does not seem to be making any kind of improvements. They sold Andre Onana, too, but did not bring in any replacements.

Since they already have a strong forward line up, they have to invest in other positions. But the fans are already frustrated with Ruben Amorim, and they have started to demand that the club sack him.
Gareth Southgate is the rumoured name to replace Amorim at Manchester United
The name of the former England manager, Gareth Southgate, is heavily rumoured to be the next manager of Manchester United if their Portuguese Boss gets sacked. Southgate had been the manager of England for 8 long years, and he had been quite successful. He left the job last year, and presently he is not employed.
But according to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United officials did not make any kind of contact with Southgate as of now, and they are going to keep faith in Ruben Amorim for a little longer. That does not mean that he is job is 100% safe, but we may not see him getting sacked instantly.
