After picking up a huge victory over Chelsea last week on Premier League, it looked like Manchester United had finally found the form that they were searching for a long time. But once again, they had to face a defeat, and this time against Brentford. Bruno Fernandes missed a penalty once again, which would have changed the scoreline completely on Premier League gameweek 6.
Brentford looked quite confident from the very first minute of the game, as Manchester United did not look very determined to snatch a solid 3 points that they desperately needed. In the 8th minute of the game, Manchester United were rightfully punished by Brentford forward Igor Thiago as he put his side in front.

Manchester United goalkeeper Bayindir remained a spectator during the goal. Brentford remained the more dominant side as it was getting really difficult for the away side to keep their attacks in control. Bayindir was the busier goalkeeper of the two as he had to work really hard to keep the attack of the opponent side at bay.

In the 20th minute, Brentford scored the cushion, and once again it came from Thiago's feet. Bayindir should have done better this time since it could have been prevented. Manchester United finally got one back at the 27th minute as Benjamin Sesko scored the first goal for his new side to make the scoreline 2-1.

In the 72nd minute, Bryan Mbeumo earned a penalty for Manchester United Football Club. It was finally looking like the Red Devils were in a position to score the much sought after equalizer. But once again, Bruno Fernandes was denied from the penalty spot as the former Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher saved the penalty and Manchester United failed to find the equalizer.
With Manchester United continuously failing to score, Brentford's counters were getting more difficult for them to prevent. Ultimately, in the 95th minute, Mathias Jensen scored a screamer to seal the much needed 3 points. Manchester United got a better position, but they were really poor in the Premier League gameweek 6.
