Ultimately, they qualified for the UEFA Conference League by finishing 7th. The fans were extremely happy with the progress, and Nuno Espirito Santo was instantly established as a hero. Forest have also done an excellent job in the transfer market this season and they will definitely fight to keep their European spot alive this season.

But the recent reports from sports journalist Matteo Moretto have been quite shocking as he claimed that there is an ongoing tension between Nuno Espirito Santo and the club officials, which may result in Santo getting sacked from Forest. In fact, there is a consideration of a potential sack going on internally right now.
This would be really frustrating for the Forest fans because there is no doubt that the Portuguese manager has done a tremendous job, and he is a fan favourite already. A sack means the team has to go through a new start once again, which can be quite risky. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but Santo getting sat probably will not be a very good thing for Forest.
