Newcastle United are still desperate to find a proper replacement for their star forward Alexander Isak, and the name that is on top of their radar is Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig. The Slovenian international had been quite impressive for Leipzig for the last couple of seasons, and he scored a total of 39 goals in all competitions.
Newcastle United Football Club have had a very difficult transfer window so far, and all their targets to replace Alexander Isak have joined different sides. They had been interested in the names like Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, but both of these two targets have decided to join Chelsea.

Newcastle United tabled a new bid for Benjamin Sesko
After the failed attempts to get these two names, they shifted their interest to Benjamin Sesko, and they looked quite desperate to land the Slovenian international at St. James Park. But Manchester United were said to be in the race for the 22 year old too, and it was looking like a tough battle.
Benjamin Sesko had also been scouted by Manchester United recently
Recent reports from Sky Sports revealed that Newcastle United have made an initial bid of £65.3m plus £4.36m worth add ons. There were no reports on whether the bid was rejected, but it was also reported that the negotiations were still going on in order to increase the bid.

Newcastle's first bid for Sesko was around £65 million
Recently, Sky Sports reported again that the Magpies have made another bid worth £69.7m for Benjamin Sesko, however, it is still not clear whether RB Leipzig is considering accepting the mentioned offer. Presently, there is no report whether Manchester United is still interested in the 22 year old.
Manchester United have already secured two major transfers in the forms of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha. Both of them are forwards, and their link with Sesko seemed quite strange as they have already bagged two major forwards. Presently, there is no confirmation whether Leipzig would accept the present bid, but one thing is pretty much confirmed that Newcastle United are in a pole position to land him.
