It was reported that Gyokeres had a release clause of £85 million, but Sporting will let him go for a reported fee of £60 million. In today's standard, this transfer money will not be a huge amount for a forward like Gyokeres. Mbuemo will also cost Manchester United something similar.

Gyokeres was previously signed to Brighton and Hove Albion, but he did not even get any chance to play for the side, despite he was under contract with them for half a season. They brought him from a Swedish club named Brommapojkarna. He had an impressive record in Sweden, but Brighton could not utilise him.
