The forward lineup of Manchester United was definitely the biggest issue last year. But their defense, midfield, and even goalkeeping were not up to the mark either. After fixing their forward line up completely, it was looking like the Red Devils were up to fix their issues in the midfield.
Carlos Baleba is rated at £100 million by Brighton and Hove Albion
As already mentioned, their primary target to feet in their midfield was Carlos Baleba. Soon after this link, it had been reported that Brighton and Hove Albion will not let the 21 year old go for anything less than £100 million, which instantly became a matter of concern for the former Premier League champions.
Morten Hjulmand is the potential target for Manchester United right now
After getting to know about the price tag, Manchester United are now moving a little slow and according to reports from Man United News, the former 20 times English League Champions will not be going for Baleba this season anymore. He is going to be a target for them next season.
Reports also suggest that Manchester United Football Club are looking forward to signing an alternative to Carlos Baleba, and this target is Morten Hjulmand of Sporting CP. The Danish International is rated at £50 million, and he has been quite impressive for Sporting CP in the last couple of seasons. The 26 year old can be an excellent fit for the Manchester United midfield.
