He was always sent on loan to different clubs like Bolton Wanderers and Accrington Stanley. And finally, in 2023, the blue half of Manchester decided to make some cash out of him.

Since Manchester City bought James Trafford for a reported fee of £27 million, they are definitely not thinking of keeping him as a reserve goalkeeper forever. So Ederson is definitely going to receive strong competition from the England U21 International.
