Crystal Palace have already lost one of their key players this season, Eberechi Eze, who had been extremely impressive for the English side for the last 5 years. Multiple teams had been scouting the English International, and when Tottenham Hotspur was really close to securing his signature, Arsenal hijacked the move.
Presently, Crystal Palace are on the brink of losing another top star of their team. Marc Guehi, who had been one of the top defenders of the team for the last 4 years, is also heading out. In 2021, he signed a 5 year contract with the club, and his present contract will end by the end of the present season.

Crystal Palace want £45 million for Marc Guehi
Marc Guehi was offered a new contract from Crystal Palace, but the English International does not want to extend his contract, and it is also reported that he wants to join Liverpool, the team that are also keen on signing him. As of now, it looks like one way or another, Guehi will ultimately leave Palace and join Liverpool.
Marc Guehi's present Crystal Palace contract will come to an end by the end of this season
Liverpool are already set to offer some cash to get the English International this season, as his contract is coming to an end. The defending Premier League champions valued him at a price of £30 million. If Liverpool fail to sign him this season, he will ultimately join the Reds next season on a free transfer.

Guehi reportedly wants to move to Liverpool
According to reports from Express, Crystal Palace Football Club are demanding £45 million for the 25 year old for an immediate switch. It has not been confirmed yet how much Liverpool is willing to offer for the English International. But there will be negotiations for sure, and chances are really high that ultimately he ends up joining Liverpool by the end of this transfer window.
Apart from Marc Guehi, Liverpool's long term transfer target Alexander Isak, is also really close to getting his dream move. His present side, Newcastle United, were quite desperate not to let him go as long as they did not get to find a replacement. Recently, they have secured the signature of the German International Nick Woltemade, so chances are high that they will allow the Alexander Isak move.
