Liverpool are the only team in the Premier League so far to maintain a 100% win record. Their first game was against Bournemouth, which they won 4-2. All the other three games were narrow one goal margin victories. All of these games were very hard fought victories, but they could have dropped points in all of these games.

But that is not the only record Liverpool have created so far. It was also the first time in the Premier League that Liverpool have won all four starting fixtures. Presently in the league, they are also the only team to maintain a 100% win record as all other teams have dropped points, including the biggest contenders to win the league like Arsenal and Manchester City.

In the last match, all Burnley wanted was a draw. They defended the match with their lives, and they almost snatched out a point. But in the 94th minute of the game, ex Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri committed a handball inside the penalty box, and the referee had no other option but to give a penalty in favour of Liverpool.

And Mohamed Salah made no mistake in scoring the goal from the penalty spot in the 95th minute of the game. In the first game, it was Federico Chiesa who broke the deadlock at the 88th minute against Bournemouth, the wonder kid Rio Ngumoha scored the winner against Newcastle United in the 100th minute, and against Arsenal, it was Dominik Szoboszlai who scored a wonderful free kick.
But this should not be the trend for the Reds to continue, as it can only continue for 3 or 4 games. If they want to win the league, they have to do better than this. From the next game, we can expect to see Alexander Isak start playing for the Defending Premier League Champions, and hopefully, the defending Premier League Champions will do better.
