Sterling spent a complete season at Arsenal on loan last season, and it was a total disaster. He could manage only one goal in a total of 28 appearances. Arsenal had the option to buy him permanently in the summer transfer window this season, but the former Premier League Champions decided not to get him on a permanent deal, and they sent him back to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea were desperate to offload him in the previous transfer window, and they were ready to let him go for a minimal fee of £18 million. A number of teams, such as Bournemouth and Crystal Palace, were reportedly interested in signing the former English International. But ultimately, all the clubs decided to keep distance from the former Liverpool man.
He was on loan to Arsenal throughout last season
Even Chelsea have decided to exile him from their squad, and he is now forced to train alone. He is also barred from the facilities given to the players of the main club. But he is presently under contract with Chelsea until 2027, and if they fail to offload him, they would have to keep him in their squad.
However, recent reports from Sports Mole suggest that Leeds United are potentially interested in signing the 30 year old, and the Premier League side is willing to offer £5 million in the winter transfer window for the former English International. It could be a great opportunity for Raheem Sterling to find his lost footing and prove his critics wrong.
