Liverpool have already lost one of their key wingers last summer to Bayern Munich Football Club. Luis Diaz has been extremely impressive for Liverpool for the last 4 seasons, and losing out on one of the most important players is always disappointing for any club.

But Liverpool have signed two major forwards this season, Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak as who of them post them over £200 million combined. Now, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo will be seen playing in the wings of the defending Premier League champions, with Ekitike and Isak being rotated in the central forward line.

Bayern Munich are potentially moving for Cody Gakpo next

Luis Diaz had been extremely impressive for Bayern Munich so far in his first four appearances, as he had scored three goals already. He has started to become a fan favourite in a short amount of time, and the huge sum of €75 million that the German Giants paid for the Colombian International looks pretty much worth it.

Cody Gakpo is presently under contract with Liverpool

Liverpool are yet to start a game with their newest forward line up but presently it looks quite impressive. But latest reports from Sky Sports suggest that Bayern Munich are also plotting to move for Diaz's former partner Cody Gakpo in the next summer to strengthen their forward line up even more.

Bayern Munich bought Luis Diaz from Liverpool for €75 million this season

Cody Gakpo has recently signed a long term contract extension with Liverpool, and it does not look like the Dutch International has any intentions of leaving the defending Premier League champions any time soon. And even if the German Giants attempt to sign him next season, he is going to be quite expensive.

After signing the contract extension, the 26 year old can cause Bayern Munich over £100 million next season. But this is going to be quite doubtful if Liverpool would let one of their key forwards go, and the bigger question would be whether Gakpo would be willing to leave Liverpool for Bayern Munich.
