Eberechi Eze had been a matter of interest for Tottenham Hotspur from the very first day of this transfer window, and at one point, it was looking like the English International was really close to joining the defending Europa League champions. Eze joined Crystal Palace back in 2020, and he has been quite successful for Palace throughout his career.
Negotiations had been going on thoroughly between Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur for Eberechi Eze, and earlier reports suggested that Spurs were willing to offer a bid worth £55 million for the English International. It was almost looking like the 27 year old is a Spurs bound.

But recent reports suggest that Arsenal have renewed their interest in Eberechi Eze, and they have entered the race to sign him once again. Latest reports from HandöfArsenal suggest that as soon as Arsenal entered the race, Eze is now determined to join Arsenal, and he does not want to hear from Tottenham Hotspur anymore.
Tottenham Hotspur set to lose out on Eze
Despite Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on losing Eze, they are still interested in other players, and they are also set to break the bank to bring in Savinho from Manchester City. The Brazilian International joined Manchester City last season, and he had been quite impressive for the former Premier League champions.

But it looks like the overcrowded roster of Manchester City does not have enough space for the Brazilian International and and they are considering offloading him. Tottenham Hotspur are presently reported to be the only team that is interested in bringing Savinho to White Hart Lane. Previously, it was reported that Chelsea were also interested in signing the Brazilian International, but presently, there is no such report that Chelsea are still interested.
Latest report from Brazilian sports journalist Cahê Mota claims that Tottenham Hotspur Football Club are willing to offer €80 million for the 21 year old. They might have missed out on Eberechi Eze, but Savinho should be a done deal for the English giants. The addition of Savinho can definitely strengthen the squad of Spurs.
