The transfer dilemma of Alexander Isak has been quite exciting so far, as the Swedish International has already made his mind clear to leave Newcastle United in order to join the defending Premier League Champions Liverpool. Isak had been extremely impressive for the Magpies for the last couple of seasons.
He scored 27 goals in all competitions class season and presently he is one of the most wanted men in all over the world of football. A number of weeks ago, Liverpool made an enquiry about the Swedish International, but Newcastle United made it clear that he is not for sale.

Alexander Isak agrees personal terms with Liverpool
But as soon as Liverpool turned their attention to the French forward Hugo Ekitike and signed him for a reported fee of £79 million, Isak submitted a transfer request. Saudi giants Al Hilal made an approach for the 25 year old, but reports from Fabrizio Romano suggested that he wanted to move to Liverpool only.
Eddie Howe is confident to keep Alexander Isak
Latest reports from Sky Sports suggest that Isak has agreed personal terms with Liverpool, however, Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe is still desperate to keep the biggest star of his club. Recently he was asked whether Isak is actually leaving, and in response to that, he replied;

Liverpool previously signed Hugo Ekitike for £79 million
"He's still our player. He's contracted to us. We, to a degree, control what's next. I'd love to believe all possibilities are still available. We've received no formal offer. " said Howe, "My wish is that he stays... but that's not in my full control." (via @Transfer News Live)

This is definitely going to be a difficult job for Eddie Howe to keep Isak on his side next season, but the fact of the matter is Liverpool cannot offer anything more than what Newcastle United are capable of. Maybe, he has seen more ambition in the Liverpool side than in his present side, which was the reason he was willing to move.
