NEW DELHI: Indian legend Virat Kohli was seen offering prayers at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain before the third and final ODI against New Zealand.

Kohli, who has been riding on brilliant form, will look to finish off in the same way in Indore, especially as no ODI action will take place for a long period.

In a video circulated widely on social media, Kohli was seen walking around the temple, surrounded by security personnel and priests, along with some religious symbols.

He was also chanting, “Jai Shri Mahakal,” a tribute hailing the almighty God, Lord Shiva, according to Hindu scriptures.

Meanwhile, New Zealand came back strongly in the second ODI, powered by Daryl Mitchell’s sensational hundred. They chased down a challenging total on a tricky surface.

Virat Kohli, however, was not able to get going in that clash and got out for 24 runs.

In the first ODI, he missed his well-deserved 24th ODI century by just seven runs, getting out on 93. Fans and experts will now look to Kohli to score big at Holkar Stadium in Indore.
