NEW DELHI: Vintage Virat Kohli was on full display during the second ODI in Raipur, and it was not just with the bat. He shared a light moment on the field that truly stole the show.

When Arshdeep Singh removed Quinton de Kock with a sharp delivery that moved away late, Washington Sundar settled under the ball at mid-on and completed a safe catch. As the crowd erupted, Virat added his own flavour to the celebration.

Right after the breakthrough, Kohli broke into the famous Indian nangin dance, leaving teammates smiling and the stadium buzzing. It was a fun and spontaneous gesture, showing the relaxed mood he carried even in a high pressure match.

Despite returning from retirement with plenty of anticipation, Quinton de Kock has struggled to make an impact in this ODI series against India. He fell for a duck in the first match at Ranchi and managed only 8 runs in the second, again departing early before he could settle in.

For a player of his class and experience, these returns fall well short of what South Africa count on from him at the top.
