NEW DELHI: Sanju Samson has shared a heartfelt message following his stunning move from Rajasthan Royals to Chennai Super Kings, a trade that has become one of the biggest stories in IPL history.

The star batter, signed by CSK for a massive 18 crore rupees, admitted that slipping into the iconic yellow kit stirred emotions he never expected.

In the first part of his message, Samson revealed how special the moment was the instant he held the CSK jersey.

“So, I have been waiting for this day and I'm very fortunate that I am going to wear the yellow jersey,” he said.

Samson explained that he rarely wears bright colours in his personal life, usually choosing darker shades, which made the yellow jersey feel even more unique.

He followed it up with an even more emotional admission in the second half of his message.

“As I said, I am always in my dark colours like black, blue, brown but yellow, definitely, I think it is a great feeling to wear that jersey. I never thought about it. Honestly, I never thought how will I feel after wearing CSK. I felt very positive and I felt very happy. A different energy wearing that jersey. I felt like a champion. I felt like, okay, wow.”
