However, security official and ground staff went into the location and took things under control quickly as the game continued without interruption. At that moment more than 30,000 spectators were present at the venue.
Perth Scorchers book their spot in finals
Talking about the match, Scotchers have dominated the clash registering their spot in the home final on Sunday.
After being invited to bat first they have shown mettle on tough surface of Perth. Finn Allen scored quickfire 49 giving them a good start. Allen also etched his name in record books with most numbers of sixes in a single BBL season. However, wickets kept tumbling at other end but a late resistance from Ashton Turner and Jhye Richarsdson powers them to 147 runs.
While chasing, Sydney Sixers again had a terrible start with Babar Azam failed to fire once again going back for duck. Steve Smith once again shown flashes of brilliance with his 37 run knock but that was not enough as none of the batters get going, resulting a heavy 48-run defeat.
