Along with the record-breaking fifty, Suryavanshi also reached another major milestone by completing 1,000 runs in youth ODIs. It is an elite achievement that only a handful of batters have managed at this level, further highlighting his rapid rise in age-group cricket.
After being invited to bat first, India had a poor start against, Bangladesh as they slipped to 53 for 3. With pressure mounting, Suryavanshi once again stood tall and took charge of the innings. He scored 72 runs off 67 deliveries, striking four fours and three sixes.
