Brilliant opening partnership

After Vaibhav’s dismissal, George built another crucial partnership, this time with Ayush Mhatre, adding 114 runs together. Their stand steadied the innings and laid the foundation for India to dominate the chase.

Century under pressure

Eventually, George brought up his century with a crisp boundary, finishing on 102 runs off 95 deliveries, which included 13 fours and two sixes. His calm and calculated innings kept India comfortably in control, with less than 40 runs required towards the end.
