Coming out to bat at number five, he not only struck a brilliant century but also ensured his side reached a competitive total after the top order failed to fire once again.

With that knock, Tilak joined an elite list for the fastest hundreds by Mumbai Indians in IPL history:

Gujarat bowlers deliver disciplined effort

From a bowling perspective, it was a clinical effort from Gujarat Titans despite conceding a century. Kagiso Rabada emerged as the standout performer, picking up three crucial wickets in the powerplay.
