India opener Smriti Mandhana has reclaimed the No.1 position in the ICC Women’s ODI batting rankings after her steady performances in the recently concluded three-match series against Australia.

Mandhana, who now has 790 rating points, scored 58 and 31 in the series to move ahead of South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt (782). Wolvaardt will have a chance to regain the top spot during South Africa’s upcoming ODI series against New Zealand in March and April.

Australia skipper Alyssa Healy, who struck a century in her final ODI appearance, occupies fourth place with 744 points. She sits between compatriots Beth Mooney (749) and Ashleigh Gardner (724) in the rankings.

India captain Harmanpreet Kaur is the other Indian in the top 10, placed ninth, while Jemimah Rodrigues is ranked 12th. Despite India losing the ODI series 0-3, Harmanpreet’s scores of 53, 54 and 25 helped her climb four places back into the top 10 with 652 rating points.

Among bowlers, Deepti Sharma is the only Indian in the top 10, sitting in 10th position. She also features prominently in the all-rounders’ rankings, where she is placed fifth.

Australia spinner Alana King surged to the top of the Women’s ODI bowling rankings with 775 rating points, ending Sophie Ecclestone’s near four-year reign at No.1. King claimed seven wickets in the series at an average of 16.71, including a match-winning 4/33 in the third ODI that powered Australia to a massive 185-run victory. The effort earned her a career-best rating and her maiden No.1 ranking.

King is joined in the top eight by four fellow Australians — Gardner (third), Annabel Sutherland (fifth), Megan Schutt (seventh) and Kim Garth (eighth).

In the all-rounders’ list, Gardner continues to dominate at the top with 516 points, holding a significant lead over West Indies star Hayley Matthews (418). Sutherland moved up two places to 408 points, while young batter Georgia Voll climbed 23 spots to 34th in the batting rankings after averaging 54 across the three ODIs.

Australia, who had lost two of the three T20Is at home, bounced back strongly to sweep the ODI leg of the multi-format series, with Mooney, Gardner and Healy playing key roles.
