Virat Kohli ended a 9-month drought for a century in International cricket today against South Africa in Ranchi in the first of the 3-match ODI series. And his biggest fan was none other than friend and partner-in-crime, Rohit Sharma, who was seen applauding the number 3 batter's 52nd ODI century and his 3rd at the venue.

It's no secret that the two flag bearers of Indian cricket share a special relationship after having played so much cricket together. After Yashasvi Jaiswal succumbed to a Nandre Burger outswinger that brushed the edge of the bat before nestling into Quinton de Kock's safe hands, it was the World no. 1, Rohit Sharma and World no. 4, Virat Kohli, who steadied the ship for Team India, powering through the next 20 or so overs. They added a total of 141 runs together and looked fluent throughout.
Unfortunately, a Marco Jansen delivery uncharacteristically stayed low after pitching, resulting in Rohit Sharma being foxed into an LBW. But the latter pushed on to bring up a fabulous century in just 103 balls. As Virat Kohli jumped and punched the air in jubilation, the cameras panned towards the Hitman, who was all smiles and applauding the greatness he, along with the world, was witnessing.
A leap of joy ❤️💯

King Kohli picked after the pace right after getting to his 83rd century in International cricket across formats and hit 30 runs off the next 12 deliveries. As he tried to push India past the 300-run mark, he holed a slower length ball to mid off, ending a magnificent knock of 135 off 120 deliveries, which included 11 fours and 7 sixes.
