Rajasthan Royals squad will assemble in Jaipur on March 17 to kick off their training for the upcoming IPL 2026 season. The team will start with training and drills necessary in their camp to get into shape and netting at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
It will be the first occasion that the entire Rajasthan Royals squad will assemble before the new season, with big-name recruits Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran. The sessions will be led by the head coach and director of cricket, Kumar Sangakkara, and they will focus on team bonding, tough practice, tactical planning, and strength and conditioning drills.

A smaller number of players attended a brief preparatory camp and fitness test in the franchise's High Performance Centre in Nagpur. Others in the group were Ravi Bishnoi, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Sandeep Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja, who had just joined the preparations of the squad.
The 2008 IPL champions, led by the new captain Riyan Parag, will host their three initial matches at the ACA stadium in Guwahati, which will be their second home stadium.
The Rajasthan Royals will be visiting Guwahati on March 26 before the season begins against the Chennai Super Kings on March 30, as per the fixtures made available by the IPL Governing Council.
The opener will be followed by a trip to Ahmedabad, where the Rajasthan Royals will play their first away match with the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium on April 4.
Then they will go back to Guwahati and play their next two matches, which they will lose to the Mumbai Indians on April 7 and the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 10.
Meanwhile, the IPL 2026 season schedule was announced two days ago. Only the first 20 fixtures of the tournament are being announced (until April 12), with the rest of the schedule being released later because of the upcoming elections. The Royals' matches at their home ground, the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, will be confirmed at the next phase of the schedule.
