The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has scheduled a three-match T20 International series in Sri Lanka ahead of next year’s ICC World Cup. The board confirmed on Tuesday that Pakistan will play the matches on January 7, 9, and 11 in Dambulla.
Before heading to the World Cup, Pakistan will also host Australia for a three-match T20I series starting January 30. According to the PCB, the Sri Lanka tour will offer crucial match practice as the team prepares for the global event.
Pakistan are placed in Group A for the World Cup and will play all their group-stage matches in Colombo.
The tournament is set to take place from February 7 to March 8 in India and Sri Lanka.
