The Handshake row between India and Pakistan has been the talking point of the ongoing Asia Cup. But it seems that this denial of a handshake is limited only to Pakistan and not to the other countries competing in the tournament. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav readily greeted and shook hands with his Bangladeshi counterpart, Jaker Ali, before the toss ahead of the Super 4 clash between India and Bangladesh at the Dubai International Stadium tonight.

In both matches against Pakistan in the Asia Cup, this wasn't the case. First in the group stage encounter, and then on the eve of their Super 4 match on Sunday. Infact, the first time, Suryakumar Yadav shook hands with both Ravi Shastri and match referee Andy Pycroft before ignoring Salman Ali Agha's outstretched hand.

But in the matches against other opposition, this wasn't the case. Against Oman, the Indian skipper shared an embrace with Jatinder Singh ahead of the Group A clash on Friday.

After the formalities were completed and the toss landed in Bangladesh's favour, Jaker Ali declared their decision to bowl first. Assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate talked about the challenge posed by the veteran pacer Mustafizur Rahman ahead of the first innings. "Yeah, he's a champion. He's been around a long time. A very skilful bowler. We obviously know the skill sets that he brings. There are many good players on the Bangladesh side," he said.

Mustafizur Rahman comes into this match with a huge milestone waiting for him. Currently on 149 T20I wickets for Bangladesh, he will be hoping ot hit the 150 mark against India tonight. With 7 wickets in 4 games in the Asia Cup, he will be high on confidence against India's strong batting order.
