"Yes it has (been a tough season). Nice to get on the right side of the game and get a win. Disappointing season but still a lot to play for. Few of the Indian boys said the day before that it looked a bit better (the pitch). I just tried to get as many as I could in the powerplay and get us off to a good start. Have an impact on the game. The last two games we've batted really well. Probably 10-15 short in Mumbai on a really good wicket. Tonight we were courageous with the ball. LSG end their losing streak and deny RCB a top spot in the IPL 2026 points table today. However, despite the big result, Lucknow remain at the bottom with 6 points in 10 matches and RCB stay at No. 3 with 12 points in 10 games.

With four teams winning 6 of 10 games, the playoff race is wide open in the upcoming matches. SRH remain at the top, and PBKS have an edge, having played a game less.
