India were able to bowl out the visitors for a cheap score of 159 on the first day of the India vs South Africa test series at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. But the job for the day wasn't done yet. With only 20 overs left to go in the day and the ball swinging viciously in both directions, KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal had a job to do.

The latter was bowled by Marco Jansen after making just 12 runs, but KL Rahul held up the other end with perseverance. The night-watchman, Washington Sundar, did his job at the other end as India went to Stumps on Day 1 without losing their 2nd and finishing the day on 37/1.
However, for KLassy Rahul, it wasn't a breeze in the park. As if facing the pace attack of Marco Jansen and Wiaan Mulder, coupled with the wily off-spin of Keshav Mahara,j wasn't enough, there was an incident in the game where the usually cool KL Rahul lost his temperament.
The incident came in the 9th over of the game while Rahul was batting on 3 off 19 balls. And as the tall frame of Marco Jansen released the ball that KL Rahul fended off on the back foot, the Indian opener stared directly at someone just beside the side-screen with an angry gaze.

It seems that a fan sitting beside the Sightscreen had caused some distraction just before the bowler released the ball. Social Media was quick to capture the very seldom shown side of KL Rahul, the 'Angry side.'
